Argentine pop darling TINI opens her 14-track set TINI TINI TINI with her dream collaboration: “Un Beso En Madrid” with Alejandro Sanz.

The track is a pop ballad that narrates a love untested and is only survived by that unforgettable kiss in Madrid. “I never imagined that this dream could come true and it did in a very unexpected way,” TINI says. “It’s something I will forever remember. It’s the most special song on this album.”

The rest of the album is experimental, with the songstress tapping into multiple genres including cumbia, tango, trap and reggaeton.

Born Martina Stoessel, the Argentine artist features seven collaborations on her third studio album with artists such as Lalo Ebratt, KHEA, Mau Y Ricky, Greeicy, Sebastián Yatra and John C. “This album, that I’ve been working on for two years, has been one of the best things that has happened to my career,” TINI says about her new album, which was released on Dec. 3. “I grew as an artist thanks to each of the songs that are included.” Stream Tini’s album here.

Below, the Argentine singer answers 20 questions for Billboard:

1. In one word, describe your new album: 

Strength.

2. What’s your favorite song on Tini Tini Tini? 

I don’t think I can choose just one. It depends a lot what my mood is and that’s also what dictates how I make music. It allows me to experiment with different genres.

3. If you had to choose one (or two)… 

I had to pick from the ballads on this album, “Un Beso En Madrid,” and from the fast-paced ones, “Fresa” has a special place in my heart.

4. This new album is special because …

I will never forget what this album means to me because it’s been one of the best things that has happened to my career. This album, that I’ve been working on for two years, has been one of the best things that has happened to my career. I grew as an artist thanks to each of the songs that are included. Each song means so much to me. So, there was a lot of growth in that moment not only for me but for other people on my team. “

5. What surprised you most about collaborating with Alejandro Sanz on “Un Beso en Madrid”?

To be able to make this dream come true. I never imagined that this dream could come true and it did in a very unexpected way. It’s something I will forever remember. It’s the most special song on this album. I will be forever thankful for this opportunity.

6. What song best defines your Argentine heritage?

From this album, I would say that there are two genres very representative of Argentina as a country. We listen to cumbia a lot, and on “22” we did a fusion of cumbia and reggaeton and it was the very first song I released from this album. And, well, “Duele” is very similar because tango is something that represents Argentina and all Argentines. The song is a fusion of tango and trap, which I had not done before. Those two songs represent the Argentine heritage.

7. How did Buenos Aires shape who you are?

Every person that is born in their country they always have something from their culture. Something very particular we have here is being very close to friends and our family members and really take care of those friendships. We have these weekly reunions called juntadas on Sunday that are a must and that’s when we spend time with family and friends.

8. What’s the first piece of music that you bought for yourself?

When I was little I would listen to whatever my parents would listen to. They’d listen to Shakira, Luis Miguel, Alejandro Sanz and they were the first artists I listened to and the first albums I ever bought. Madonna was a first too.

9. What was the first concert you saw?

If I’m not mistaken I was 8 years old and I think it was Las Bandanas, a very popular group from Argentina and their concert was so much fun. I had a blast.

10. Who made you realize you could be an artist full-time?

I don’t think it was a person who made me realize that. I would say it was the liberty my parents gave me when I was little that played a major role in realizing I could be an artist. I didn’t really play with toys or dolls, and I would spend my time dancing and singing and they would just let me be. They allowed me to discover who I am today.

11. What’s at the top of your professional bucket list?

What I dream the most is to be able to continue to grow and develop as an artist. To make better music and better shows. That’s my goal. Then, things will fall into place. Life itself will guide you. And maybe act again, I’d love to do both.

12. Who’s still on your bucket list to collaborate with?

There are many. In the Latin world, I grew up listening to Daddy Yankee and he became like a teacher and to have a song with him would be a dream. And Beyoncé is my favorite artist. She has inspired my career.

13. If you could see any artist in concert, dead or alive, who would it be?

It would have been great to see Freddie Mercury on stage. To see Queen together. After seeing the movie [Bohemian Rhapsody], I became more obsessed.

14. What movie, or song, always makes you cry?

Every time I see Titanic, I gift them one of my tears. And therefore “My Heart Will Go On” by Celine Dion makes me very emotional.

15. What’s one thing that even your most devoted fans don’t know about you?

I have a special pillow that I take with me wherever I travel. It’s some sort of special love I have for my pillow. If I can, I’ll take it with me.

16. If you were not a musician, what would you be?

I love fashion, so maybe something related to fashion.

17. What’s one piece of advice you would give to your younger self?

When I was little I was very impatient and anxious. I would tell my younger self to just let time do its thing and not be in such a hurry.

18. What’s a piece of advice your parents would give you when you were little? 

Actually, they’d tell me exactly that. To not be in a hurry. But when you’re little, you don’t pay attention to your parents. But I learned that it’s important to be patient.

19. What are you afraid of?

The first thing that comes to mind is losing someone that I love.

20. What do you spend too much money on?

Probably shopping. I like to splurge once in a while. Maybe buy a purse or a pair of shoes I’ve always wanted.
