Banda MS clocks its 19th top 10 on the Latin Airplay chart as “Cerrando Ciclos” jumps 16-9 on the Nov. 21 survey.

The song pushes up the chart with a 20% boost in audience impressions, to 7 million, earned in the week ending Nov. 15, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

“Cerrando Ciclos” is the third single from El Trabajo Es La Suerte, Banda MS’s 13th studio album, which debuted and peaked at No. 2 on the Regional Mexican Albums chart dated Aug. 29. The tune was written by Eden Muñoz, Calibre 50’s frontman and accordionist.

As “Cerrando Ciclos” enters the top tier for the first time, Banda MS collects its 19th top 10, an honor the group now shares with La Arrolladora Banda el Limon de Rene Camacho for the fourth-most for a regional Mexican band. They trail Banda El Recodo de Cruz Lizárraga, Calibre 50, Intocable and Los Tigres del Norte, who all have 20 top 10s.

“Cerrando Ciclos” concurrently vaults 3-2 on Regional Mexican Airplay and takes home the Greatest Gainer trophy.

Nio García and Casper Mágico’s First: Elsewhere on the Latin charts, Nio García and Casper Mágico each take their first Tropical Airplay top 10 thanks to their latest collaboration, the reggaetón/old-school merengue track “Travesuras.”

The Xound & Goldi-produced tune samples Héctor ‘El Father’’s “Noche de Travesuras” (2005). It lifts 16-10 in its second week with a lofty 207% increase in audience impressions, to 1.28 million.
