This ain’t your grandma’s quaint carol. Queen of Bounce Big Freedia blew up the holidays on Monday (Dec. 7) when she dropped the raunchy new Christmas classic “Better Be” with Flo Milli. “Left out the cookies and the Henny/ Got a new man comin’ down my chimney/ Got a bad case of the gimme gimmes/ Better be big, I ain’ f–k no Tiny Timmies,” Freedia raps over an ominous keyboard line before ticking off the list of all the things that better be under the tree come Christmas morning.
The cheeky video features dancers twerking in their reindeer leotards and Freedia sitting on a holiday throne in seasonal jammies in front of a raging fire. By the time Milli comes through on the second verse she’s got her own list of better be, which includes diamonds, a brand new car and cash, of course. “If it ain’t money I don’t care/ Hoes be funny, hoes be weird/ Mad cuz I been good this year/ Santa, make those bags appear,” she raps.
