Celeste stripped back her already-powerful song “Hear My Voice” on Monday (Dec. 7) for a poignant new arrangement of the track.

Netflix Playlist shared the performance, which features the BRITs rising star winner belting the melody in London’s Union Chapel, alongside a piano and string instrumental. “Hear My Voice” is featured in Aaron Sorkin’s The Trial of The Chicago 7 and co-written with Golden Globe-nominated composer Daniel Pemberton.

Sorkin’s Netflix film is based on the 1969 trial of seven defendants, who were charged by the federal government with conspiracy, sparked by the Chicago countercultural protests at the 1968 Democratic National Convention.
