Charli D’Amelio has become the first TikTok user to reach 100 million followers.
The 16-year-old social media star, who is best known for completing dance challenges that get millions of likes, hit the milestone on Sunday (Nov. 22) about a year-and-a-half after joining the platform.
“A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS HELPED ME REACH 100 MILLION SUPPORTERS!!! AND ANOTHER HUGE THANK YOU TO @tiktok I LOVE EVERY ONE OF YOU!!!” D’Amelio captioned a TikTok video Sunday.
As of press time, D’Amelio was trailed on TikTok by Addison Rae, who had 69.6 million followers and Zach King, with 52.8 million followers.
D’Amelio, who is sisters with social media star and singer Dixie D’Amelio, has previously said she uses TikTok to “share the joy and love of dance with everyone” and “to help voice the things that teens want to say.”
