Country artist Cory Marks has released a lyric video for his cover of The Tractors’ popular ’90s holiday hit “Jingle My Bells.” Marks’ cover of the song carries the same rowdy feel as the original but kicks up the tempo and includes a powerful fiddle accompaniment. The new track is part of the compilation project Christmas With Better Noise Music and is now available.
“Jingle My Bells” is produced by Kevin Churko and was recorded at The Hideout Recording Studio in Las Vegas, capping a landmark year for Marks following the release of his debut album Who I Am in August. The album contains Marks’ hit song “Outlaws & Outsiders,” featuring Travis Tritt, Ivan Moody of Five Finger Death Punch and Mick Mars of Mötley Crüe, which peaked at No. 7 on Country Digital Song Sales, No. 10 on Mainstream Rock Songs airplay, No. 1 on Rock Digital Song Sales and No. 14 on Hot Rock & Alternative Songs.
According to a press release announcing the new holiday album, “An Easter egg hides within the lyric video, hanging on the wall by the fireplace — a GOLD certified record,” honoring Marks’ breakthrough single.
