Country superstars Florida Georgia Line have signed a long-term touring deal with Live Nation. Though FGL — Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley — have utilized the promoting giant before, the new multi-year pact makes Live Nation their exclusive promoter in North America.

“This past year has given us a chance to spend more time writing, producing, and being creative, but we are itching to get back on the road,” said Kelley and Hubbard in a statement. “We miss our fans, and the live energy and connection we have with them when we hit the stage. Our Live Nation family has been a great partner in the past, and we’re excited to be teaming up like this together. Getting back on tour and being able to share our new music can’t come soon enough!”

With a COVID-19 vaccine hopefully on the way, the duo could return to the road as early as summer 2021.

Prior to the concert shutdown caused by the pandemic, FGL were a touring juggernaut. Their total gross reported to Billboard Boxscore during the aughts for 319 shows is $191 million. More than a quarter of that tally came from 2019’s Can’t Say I Ain’t Country tour, which grossed $50.7 million from 727,739 tickets sold over 41 shows, making it the group’s highest-earning tour yet.

Booked by WME and managed by Irving Azoff and Jeffrey Azoff at Full Stop Management, the duo’s current single, “Long Live” is climbing the Country Airplay chart. The pair have landed 15 No. 1s on Country Airplay  chart starting with 2012’s “Cruise.” They also had the longest reign on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for 50 consecutive weeks with “Meant to Be” with Bebe Rexha.

Hubbard recently announced via his Instagram account that he had tested positive for COVID-19 —leading to FGL pulling out of Wednesday (Nov. 11) night’s CMA Awards, where they were nominated for best duo— but he is said to be on the road to recovery.
