Instant saves on The Voice are (almost) as valuable as a Wonka golden ticket. Ian Flanigan just scored, big time.

On Tuesday night (Dec. 8), American voted and one fortunate contestant got a spot in the final five of the competition.

Team Blake’s Flanigan went toe-to-toe with Tamara Jade, Cami Clune, Ben Allen and Bailey Rae to stay in the game.

The 30-year-old singer is in his wheelhouse with country, and he seemed to channel Kenny Rogers with his take on Travis Tritt’s “Anymore.”

America loved it, and the native of Saugerties, New York heard his name read out at the end of the results episode.
