Baby on board! A glowing Mandy Moore debuted pregnancy at the 2020 People’ Choice Awards on Sunday night (Nov. 15).

Taking to the awards show’s red carpet in a long-sleeved black gown by Brandon Maxwell and bold blue statement earrings, the star cradled her baby bump while flashing a megawatt smile for photographers.

“Baby’s first Awards Show,” she captioned an Instagram post following the big night. “Thank you to ALL who voted and allowed me the honor of accepting a @peopleschoice award. Also much gratitude to the folks running the show for allowing us to participate and celebrate the night in such a safe and stress-free way (COVID tests beforehand, temperature checks, hanging in our cars until it was our time to walk inside).”

During the night, Moore took home the fan-voted trophy for drama TV star of 2020 for her role as This is Us matriarch Rebecca Pearson. During her acceptance speech, she even referenced her baby-to-bee and also gave a sweet shout-out to her real-life husband, musician Taylor Goldsmith.

“To all of you who championed and supported our show and the Pearson family from the beginning, we truly wouldn’t be here without you. You are a part of our growing family,” she said while rubbing her pregnant belly. “Sharing Rebecca’s story continues to be the highlight of my career. And of course, to my This Is Us cast and crew who work so tirelessly to bring the show to life, I’m so proud to work with all of you. You are some of the best in the business.

“To the love of my life Taylor, I’m so excited to bring this baby boy into the world with you,” the star continued. “This has been a challenging year for everybody so let’s please keep each other safe. Let’s continue to wear masks, socially distance, wash your hands and be kind to one another.”

Earlier this year, Moore also heralded her long-awaited return to music with the release of her seventh album Silver Landings. Preceded by lead singles “When I Wasn’t Watching,” “I’d Rather Lose,” “Save a Little for Yourself” and “Fifteen,” the studio set marked her first since 2009’s Amanda Leigh as well her 2016 divorce from ex-husband Ryan Adams.
