Fingers crossed! On Thursday (Dec. 3), Miley Cyrus sent well-wishes to a couple of fans on TikTok looking for her blessing to tie the knot.

It all started when the couple uploaded a video of themselves dancing to the rocking title track of the pop star’s new album Plastic Hearts, writing, “If miley cyrus comments we will get married” across the screen.

Well, it seems Cyrus — an avid TikTok user herself — came across the clip and made the young couple’s wish come true. “Hope it goes better for you two than it did for me…Congrats,” she wrote in the comments section alongside a diamond ring emoji followed by a skull and crossbones and a black heart.

With her cheeky comment, the pop star is referencing her short-lived marriage to former flame Liam Hemsworth, whom she married in December 2018 nearly a decade after meeting on the set of 2010’s The Last Song. The couple split, however, just nine months later, with Hemsworth citing “irreconcilable differences” in his August 2019 divorce filing.

Cyrus has since channeled her heartbreak new music, seemingly referencing the break-up in everything from 2019 one-off “Slide Away” and Plastic Hearts lead single “Midnight Sky” to album highlights “WTF Do I Know” and “Angels Like You.”

In a new interview with Howard Stern this week, the singer opened up about the reasons for the split, admitting that losing their Malibu home in the Woolsey Fire of November 2018 helped spur their choice to tie the knot after a lengthy six-year engagement.

“I don’t get off on drama or fighting. I don’t know if we ever really thought we were actually going to get married,” she told Stern, adding, “Me being an intense person and not wanting to sit with it and not wanting to go, you know, ‘What could be purposeful about this?’ I just clung to what I had left of that house, which was me and him.”
