In an interview for Snapchat’s Good Luck America series, President Obama revealed that when it comes to curating his year-end Spotify playlists, he leans on his daughters Sasha and Malia for tips.

“My year-end playlists, those are the fresh cuts. There, I will confess that I do consult with Malia and Sasha throughout the year,” Obama told host Peter Hamby in a new three-part interview.

Earlier this year, Obama unveiled his summer playlist, which included songs by Popcaan and Drake, Wizkid and H.E.R., The Chicks, Billie Eilish, Mac Miller and Teyana Taylor, among others.

“I’m constantly listening to their music, sometimes by request, and sometimes just because that’s what’s blaring in our house,” Obama said of the songs he’s picked up from his 22- and 19-year-old daughters. “So, you know, I pick up on some trends. Sasha is more protective of her music. There’s certain things on SoundCloud. She has like a private playlist. She won’t share all of them with me, because she’s not sure I’m hip enough. But nah, man, I’m keeping up for an old guy.”

It’s possible Obama has also discussed who might play him in a potential biopic, since he recently revealed that he would be totally okay with Drake playing him on screen if he had his choice.
