Future Classic has added 19-year-old bedroom pop singer Sycco to its lineup of artists, Billboard can exclusively announce on Wednesday (Nov. 18).

“I am so excited to be partnering with Future Classic. I really respect their roster and love how they are constantly thinking about new ideas and how to help me reach new audiences in this weird time,” says the Brisbane-native (born Sash McLeod) of signing with the record label, whose roster includes Flume, G Flip, and Sophie.

Future Classic’s founder/CEO Nathan McLay adds that the team is “thrilled to be expanding our partnership with Sycco who has quickly found fans and an artist community despite a year in iso. She has such a talent and breezy good vibes that’s infections, much like her music! Our team in Sydney and L.A. are all super psyched!”

To accompany the news of the label signing, the singer-songwriter is releasing the track “Germs” along with a psychedelic music video.

“I’m so proud of Germs, it was one of the first collaborations I ever did, but it is so authentically Sycco. My vision for the project really crystalized after I wrote this song and I really hope you like it,” says the budding artist.

The label signing and new release follows Sycco’s earlier single “Dribble.” which surpassed one million Spotify streams in October.
