While MTV won’t host its typical Movie & TV Awards this year as the coronavirus continues to spread, the entertainment brand will “honor the biggest and best moments in film and TV from the ’80s until now” with Sunday’s MTV Movie & TV Awards: Greatest of All Time special.
Billboard can exclusively reveal that Sia and Steve Aoki with Travis Barker are set to perform at the 90-minute event, which will spotlight the “GOATs” in categories like scream queen, legendary lip lock, dance your a– off, heartbreaking break-up, comedy giant, zero to hero, she-ro and dynamic duo.
“I’m stoked to be performing with one of my good friends at the MTV Movie & TV Awards: Greatest of All Time,” Aoki said in a press statement. “Not only will we be celebrating the best of the best pictures with the iconic music that pushed them forward, but we have some surprises for you all as well. Make sure to tune in, and celebrate these epic films with us.”
MTV is also planning a return for the MTV Movie & TV Awards in 2021, including an “epic weekend event.”
Vanessa Hudgens will host the MTV Movie & TV Awards: Greatest of All Time, premiering at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Sunday.
