There’s no point being a wallflower during the knockout phases of NBC’s The Voice. You might as well come in like a wrecking ball.

That’s what Casmè did as she went against Tamara Jade during the Knockouts Tuesday night (Nov. 17) on The Voice.

The New Orleans native tackled Miley Cyrus’ hit, singing against Tamara Jade’s cover of Stevie Wonder’s “Higher Ground.”

The Team Legend hopefuls destroyed it.

Afterwards, coach Gwen Stefani spoke of Casmè’s passion. “I almost saw the song in a whole new way.”

Jade’s vocals, however, are “ridiculous, it’s not fair,” the “Hollaback Girl” enthused.

Kelly Clarkson admitted she would go see a Tamara Jade concert, while Blake Shelton said the Washington, D.C. resident had a “death grip” on the performance.

“I felt the mission in your voice,” John Legend added.

There could only be one winner on the night. And that was Jade.
