With everyone stuck at home this New Year’s Eve due to the out-of-control COVID-19 pandemic, Justin Bieber just swooped in to save the day. On Monday (Dec. 7) the singer announced a return to the stage with the “T-Mobile Presents New Year’s Eve Live With Justin Bieber” special, his first live show since he canceled his 2017 Purpose World Tour.
“I’ve worked with T-Mobile for a long time — they’re such a fun brand, and we’re working on more surprises to watch out for during this special night,” said Bieber in a statement. “I can’t wait to partner on this epic New Year’s Eve concert with them, and give everyone a safe way to kick 2020 out the door, together.”
Beliebers can tune into the gig on Dec. 31 starting at 10:15 p.m. ET, with the show officially kicking off at 11 p.m. ET.; T-Mobile promised more fan experience announcements soon. T-Mobile customers can get free access to the livestream through the T-Mobile Tuesdays app or by going here starting Tuesday (Dec. 8) at 5 a.m. ET and the general public can purchase access to the gig for $25 here; access to the show will be available through Jan. 1 at 3 p.m. ET.
The show tops a very busy 2020 for Bieber, who just released his duet with Shawn Mendes, “Monster,” the heels of his singles “Holy” (feat. Chance the Rapper) and “Lonely” (with Benny Blanco).
